idk if anyone can help with this, but i thought i'd shoot out my problem here. my computer is doing this really awesome thing where if i play music or videos it makes this obnoxious sort of popping noise in the background - especially when i play music. when i watch videos (normally i use media player classic) it's been starting to sort of lag the picture while the audio keeps going so the audio and image don't match. it's going this on VLC and on BSplayer as well. sometimes, when my computer feels like it, it'll play videos with no problems, but then later i'll watch the same video and it won't work. my computer also used to play HD videos (at first it wouldn't and suddenly it started to) and now it won't again.

i'm getting really sick of this and i don't know what to do. i've done a defrag on my computer and my external harddrive and it's still acting this way. i've cleared up as much space as i possibly can. i can't afford to buy a new computer at all, obviously, and i don't think this is exactly a problem that a system restore can fix. does anyone have at all any ideas as to what the problem could be and how to fix it? my computer is a dell, btw, if that helps at all. just. a;lskd this is so frustrating and i'm just sick of my computer getting a new problem the second an old on gets fixed.

i'll probably be calling dell support later tonight but i thought i'd ask here first in case anyone knew anything. i don't really want to call the annoying and usually unhelpful tech people. :|

MY ANGER CANNOT BE CONTAINED.

Ten minutes ago I get a comment to one of my entries here about some chick at Narutofic.org called "basement_girl" took one of my fics called "The New Guy" and posted it as her own. AS:LGKNAS:FLAS:KGKALSG

She changed it into second person (idk why) and titled it "The New Kid." She only has two chapters of it up, probably because she has to go and change all of the "Narutos" to "you" which will take a long fucking time when there's 27 chapters. SO WHY DID SHE PICK THIS FIC IN THE FIRST PLACE. WTF. But anyway, at least she doesn't have the whole fic up because now I can cut her off before she gets too many adoring fans. D<

The person who alerted me to this had the problem with her friend - basement_girl had taken her friend's fic too - and afterward they had intelligently thought to check the bitch's other fics and realized "The New Kid" as mine, and then got to my lj to let me know. I am so, so glad they did because I haven't written fic in Naruto fandom for years and there is no way I would have ever found out about this otherwise. ;____;

Just. a;lskdnga;sldknga;sldkgas I am so angry. I've already sent the mods at that website and email about it, but I'm tempted to send stupid basement_girl a message so she can FEEL MY WRATH. Don't steal my fic, bitch. I took a whole fucking year to write it. All 198,159 words of it. Don't take all of that and say you wrote it a;sldknga;sldkngalsdg Although, admittedly, why anyone would want to plagiarize that fic is beyond me (it's such crap), but still a;sldkng;alskdnalsd D< NOT PLEASED.

LOL WAIT. WHILE I WAS WRITING THIS, THE STORY GOT REMOVED. HER ACCOUNT HAS BEEN BLOCKED FOR PLAGIARISM AND HAHAHA. YAY. I also just got an email from the site mod and it's all taken care of, thank god. :D

I've been staring at this entry page for a half hour wanting to say everything that I'm feeling, but not being able to because a) I'm a loser and b) I've never been good at talking about myself. So, let's just skip my emo and whining and loser-ness and talk about you. :D

I recently learned about the gives me hope website and spent yesterday reading through all of the pages (lol, see proof of my loser-ness). Everyone should read that website because it is beautiful. I wish I could be even a fraction as optimistic as those people. And then through GML I found out about operation beautiful which is also a wonderful site. And to add to the amazing, pipsqueaks wrote this fabulous entry.

Basically, I want to say that you, all fifty-seven of you, are amazing, gorgeous, beautiful people. I love you guys a lot. And I know I say that at the end of almost all of my posts, but it's not some lame internet ~ilu~ thing. I really do love you all. :) Some of you I don't talk to that much and some of you maybe I talk to too much (XD) but you're all very important to me.

Lots of happenings over the weekend. :D It was quite a relaxing weekend, which is exactly what I needed after that hellish week. :D It rained all yesterday which was good because we desperately needed it, but made it really icky to go outside. D: Even though I didn't leave the room until like 5:30 to get dinner! XD For lunch I had leftover pizza from Saturday night, so I chilled in my pajamas all day. I love that. :D

I know I like just did the whole drabbling thing awhile ago. But. I need brain power tonight to stay awake, so it's happening again. XD Maybe I'll actually finish them all this time. But it'll be a little different? I got this idea from a friend, where you give me a sentence, and then I'll continue from that sentence. So. Give me the most outrageous sentences possible (if you want something outrageous, that is) otherwise be nice. XD Or if no ideas for sentencing, then just normal pairing/prompt.

I've been thinking about this for almost a month. And the deciding factor was that I was getting sick of going back to old fics on this journal and cringing from the atrocious formatting. I wanted to redo them all, but for some reason when I edited those entries on this journal it fucked everything up. :\ So, I moved ALL of my fics over to the fic comm. There are prettier tags there too, but not yet a index since I'm being lazy. >.> The graphics comm is pretty empty right now since I haven't made enough icons for awhile to post. I don't know how active that comm will be anyway, but since I'm putting my fics elsewhere, I figured I'd move my graphics too.

All the fics that're already here will stay because there are some lovely comments that I don't want to lose. I'm going to flock them though.
